Starship Flight 10
Mission description
Having completed multiple tests leading up to launch, Ship 36 and Booster 16 were expected to take flight at the end of June 2025. However, during final testing, Ship 36 experienced a Rapid Unscheduled Disassembly at Massey's. After completion of Ship 37's cryogenic proof testing during May 2025, static fire testing on July 31, 2025 (single engine) and August 1, 2025 (multiple engines), as well as a spin prime test on August 13, 2025, all on the adapted OLM, Ship 37 and Booster 16 are expected to fly together in August 2025. On August 15, the FAA has announced the closure of Flight 9 Mishap Investigation and allowed Flight 10 to proceed. The first launch attempt on Sunday, August 24, 2025, was scrubbed around T-40 minutes due to a ground system issue. The second launch attempt on Monday, August 25, 2025, was put on hold at the T-40 seconds mark due to bad weather condition. Countdown then proceeded until the T-10 seconds mark and was reset. From the technical point of view everything was functioning perfectly. .
