Kosmos TBD (Classified Payload)
Mission description
The Soyuz-2 rocket will launch from the Plesetsk Commodrome with an unconfirmed payload. It has been suggested that the payload will be Meridian-M n°21L new generation communication satellites of dual purpose: civilian and military that was delayed several years headed for the Molniya orbit. Less probable is that GLONASS navigation satellite or a Tundra early warning satellite will be the payload but not impossible judging from the ascent trajectory. The launch vehicle will fly in Soyuz 2.1a configuration with Fregat-M upper stage. The launch window opens on April 1, 2026 at 4:00 am CEST and closes on April 15, 2026.
